This study examines environmental awareness in the Urdu novels Pani Mar Raha Hai and Hari Utopia. Both novels portray ecological concerns, including water scarcity, pollution, environmental degradation, and the destructive impact of human activities on nature. Through their narratives, the writers reveal how irresponsible use of natural resources threatens ecological balance and human existence. The study analyzes the ways in which these novels create ecological consciousness among readers and present environmental sustainability as essential for survival. It also explores how characters, settings, and conflicts reflect the environmental crisis and the need for collective responsibility. By drawing attention to the relationship between humans and the natural world, the novels encourage use of water, reduction of pollution, and protection of ecosystems. The study concludes that Pani Mar Raha Hai and Hari Utopia are contributions to Urdu environmental literature, as they promote awareness, responsibility, and action for a safer and more sustainable future.
